The Usos and The Revival stole the show on Raw last night with a legit tag team wrestling match. This is exactly the kind of performance that fans should expect from WWE’s extremely talented tag team division every time. The Revival pulled off a big win, but WWE might have used lackluster reasoning to accomplish this.

The Usos defeated Daniel Bryan and Rowan during the Money In The Bank kickoff show. That match wasn’t for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles even though plenty of fans were under the assumption that it was. Regardless of what was on the line, The Usos still defeated the champions on Sunday.
Dave Meltzer explained WWE’s reasoning for giving The Revival a big win over the Usos on Wrestling Observer Radio. Apparently, WWE might have been using their own logic to book the finish on Monday.
“Since the Usos beat the SmackDown Tag Team Champions they can lose now even though they’re going for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Because it’s 50/50 so since they won the bigger one they can lose the smaller one. So that’s the way they book which to me is like so completely counterproductive.”
The Revival might have celebrated in a big way last night, but it might not actually mean much. Hopefully The Top Guys are done being embarrassed, but they still haven’t signed new WWE contracts from what we’ve heard.
