Rey Mysterio Seeking Further Medical Examination For Injury

Rey Mysterio suffered what is reported to be a separated shoulder thanks to the post-match attack he suffered at the hands of Samoa Joe at Money In The Bank. Now he is out of action and on the mend.

WWE hasn’t even announced what they are going to do with the United States Title now as Mysterio captured the belt right before he was injured. That decision will be revealed next week.

PW Insider reports that Mysterio was “spotted” in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday. He was very likely there to get his shoulder looked at.

WWE sends a lot of their Superstars to Birmingham to get checked out and have procedures performed. This is the location Triple H flew to directly after suffering a torn pec at the WWE Super ShowDown event in Australia.

Hopefully, Mysterio won’t need surgery and his hiatus won’t be too extended either. Until he comes back the current storyline that would see his son Dominick become a bigger part of WWE could remain in limbo.
