Corey Graves Jokes About Weird Statement From Money in the Bank

There were a lot of moments from Money in the Bank that seemed a little bit out of place, and it’s safe to say that this was one of them.

Corey Graves is widely considered to be the best commentator in WWE, because let’s face it, the proof is in the pudding. He puts in a solid shift every time he’s behind the desk – but as is the case with any line of work, we can all experience blunders from time to time.

During the Styles/Rollins Universal Championship match last night, Corey came out with a comment that left quite a few fans scratching their heads.

In terms of the match itself Seth and AJ put on one hell of a show, and it had a pretty nice story to go alongside it too. The big issue, of course, is going to be what’s waiting around the next corner for The Architect: Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate captured the Money in the Bank briefcase last night, which should be a fairly terrifying prospect for everyone involved.

The expectation is that he’s going to cash in for the Saudi Arabia show, but you’d have to question why he wouldn’t do a surprise cash-in.

Either way, we appreciated the justification from Graves regarding his comment, and we can only imagine the kind of reaction he’s going to have if Brock does wind up cashing in on Seth.

If he does so successfully, though, then we could be in for a little bit of backlash from the WWE Universe.
