WWE Almost Went With Different Money In The Bank Winner

WWE had a lot of decisions in regards to Money In The Bank. It turns out that they were kicking around one name that they didn’t end up going with, but a MITB win would have been a great opportunity for her.

Bayley ended up winning the Money In The Bank ladder match and then cashing in later on to become SmackDown Women’s Champion. However, it turns out that they almost went with Ember Moon.

Sean Sapp said on the Fightful after MITB special that WWE was kicking around Ember’s name backstage to win the MITB ladder match. Obviously, they wound up going in a different direction.

It makes you wonder how different things would have been if Ember Moon would have ended up playing the part that ended up being Bayley’s. We will never know if Moon would have garnered the same results to walk out of Hartford as champion, but hopefully, there will be plenty more chances in her career to win big matches down the line.
