Another Popular Impact Wrestling Star Requests Release

Impact Wrestling seems to be having some issues. Now they could be losing another very popular star.

Scarlett Bordeaux has reportedly requested her release from Impact Wrestling according to PW Insider. It was said that the word was making the rounds during the Impact Championship Wrestling event in Queens last night.

She apparently requested her release from the company late last week. Her contract is one where she is paid per appearance and it is not a guaranteed money deal. The Smoke Show has been gaining a lot of popularity and was one of the reasons why some fans started to pay closer attention to Impact Wrestling as they moved toward an edgier product.

The 28-year-old Bordeaux is “believed to be under contract to Impact until later this summer.” There is no confirmation that the company will be granting her release. She did work the recent Philly television tapings which will air until early June.

Jordynne Grace is also in an interesting situation with Impact Wrestling as she hasn’t signed a contract with the company even though one was believed to have been inked last year. Now Impact is reportedly scrambling to sign her to an actual contract.

Scarlett isn’t the only star requesting their release from Impact Wrestling either because Killer Kross also wants out of his deal. Kross is said to be unhappy about the pay that Impact Wrestling is offering as he is able to make a considerable amount more on the indies. We can only imagine that the situation is similar for Bordeaux.
