WWE is doing a lot of interesting things and it looks like this Monday could be a loaded show on RAW. Because WWE canceled their SmackDown live event.
This cancellation of the Lowell, Massachusetts house show is probably being done so blue brand Superstars can appear on RAW without it taking too much away from the live event.
Monday’s RAW will take place in Albany, New York and it will likely be a packed show because of this cancellation.
The Tsonga Center announced the following on their website:
WWE LIVE AT THE TSONGAS CENTER CANCELLED
The WWE Live event scheduled for Monday, May 20th at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict.
Any tickets purchased via credit card will be automatically refunded. Please allow 5-7 business days for the transaction to take place. Tickets that were purchased with cash at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell Box Office must be returned to the point of purchase in order to be refunded.
This would be the second recently canceled Smackdown Live event on a Monday due to Smackdown talent being needed for Raw.
We apologize for the inconvenience
It is interesting how they not only cited a “scheduling conflict,” but they also didn’t reschedule the show. This is different from the Corbin Kentucky house show that they cancelled a couple of weeks ago when they changed that date to a Thursday in October.
