Lars Sullivan’s Past Comments Could Keep Him From Becoming A Champion In WWE

Lars Sullivan seems to have a bright future with WWE, but it might keep a championship from his hands for a quite a while.

Sullivan was fined $100,000 for the past remarks he made on a bodybuilding message board years ago. He was also required to attend sensitivity training. However, that might only be the beginning of his punishment in WWE.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that even after Sullivan’s fine was handed down that WWE might be second-guessing the possibility of putting a title on The Freak.

And even after all this, while the company will likely promote him as a star, there has to be heavy second-guessing on whether they would ever let him be a major champion because of how it would look.

WWE could always hold off on placing a title on Sullivan in hopes that enough time will rectify the issue. However, this is also the kind of thing that is likely to never go away since it now lives online.

Only time will tell what Lars Sullivan’s future in WWE looks like, but at this point he is just starting his monster push which doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
