Daniel Bryan told WWE that he didn’t want to go to Saudi Arabia last time around so they didn’t make him go. He cited morality as his reason and WWE surprisingly understood. So WWE went ahead and had his match against AJ Styles before the KSA trip.

WWE Super ShowDown is scheduled for June 17th and it will be a packed card. We might have the entire night already leaked thanks to some local advertisements in the Saudi market. However, one thing that is very interesting is the fact that Daniel Bryan is featured in those graphics currently running on KSA television.

Mike Johnson said on PW Insider Elite audio that there was no heat on Daniel Bryan for missing the last Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia show either which makes this very interesting.

“Bryan turned it down last year and there was no heat on him.”

Perhaps WWE was able to work something out with Daniel Bryan’s morals. Or, maybe he was mistakenly placed in the graphic for the 50-man battle royal. It is very interesting that he is featured though considering that he told WWE that he didn’t want to go the last time and not much has changed in regards to the reasons that Daniel Bryan would have had to not want to go.

Roman Reigns told WWE that he didn’t want to go to Saudi Arabia the last time as well, but his leukemia came back meaning his medical hiatus made that event impossible anyway. Reigns is now rumored to be facing Shane McMahon at the Super ShowDown event.

On another note, Sami Zayn is also featured on the graphic. Since he is a Syrian Muslim the powers-that-be in KSA didn’t want him coming for the Greatest Royal Rumble. Of course, Zayn was injured during the time of Crown Jewel so it will be interesting if he makes the trip this time too.
