The Revival were not getting the focus that Top Guys like them deserve so they asked for their WWE releases. They were denied their request, but a promise was made to them that things would improve.
After a short run with the RAW Tag Team Titles, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson dropped those belts to Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder during the WrestleMania kickoff show. Then things started to really go downhill from there.
They are now being embarrassed on a weekly basis for not signing new WWE contracts when they were offered to them. However, as Dash Wilder revealed to The Sun, The Revival works better with an ax to grind.
“We work great with chips on our shoulders. We work great being assholes”
“That’s just something we’ve always used to fuel us and help us get where we wanted to go. We’re on the right trajectory.”
WWE is a great playing field for The Revival to prove themselves. The company could be booking themselves into a situation where they are going to get The Revival over even more in trying to bury them.
Dash and Dawson seem committed to the idea that they are fighting an uphill battle at this point. However, that might be the best spot for them to be in to keep them motivated.
