RAW has a few stories going on as they head toward Money In The Bank on May 19th. They also have three gimmick matches planned so far with the two MITB ladder matches and a cage match featuring The Miz and Shane McMahon. That storyline with The Miz and Shane McMahon received a lot of attention this week on WWE television.
Not only did the A-Lister and McMahon have a chance to hype their feud on RAW, but they also did so the next night on SmackDown Live. It appears that WWE could have the option for some kind of punishment due to that second attack.
Although this might be an example of WWE just forgetting how to count, Vince McMahon said that 4 Superstars could come over at a time as part of the Wild Card Rule. Of course, they didn’t stick to that number.
When The Miz jumped Shane McMahon on SmackDown Live that made The A-Lister the 5th RAW Superstar to appear on the blue brand that week. It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that “gives Shane the right to discipline him next week. Or perhaps they don’t care about it.”
This is an interesting storyline aspect to consider because even though The Miz and Shane have been feuding for a while, McMahon is still an authority figure on WWE television.
Shane McMahon could do whatever he wants in regards to punishment. We will have to wait and see how it transpires, but this could provide a chance to add an interesting layer to this on-going feud.
