AEW’s first show will be Double Or Nothing on May 25th, but the big news to come would be a television deal. American fans are still wondering how they will be able to stream the Double Or Nothing event if they don’t want to fork over the cash for the pay-per-view. Now there seems to be a much easier way because the event will apparently be free.
The Wrap reports that All Elite Wrestling’ Double Or Nothing event won’t just be on one streaming service because they plan to go all-out with the free streaming. At this time it appears that the event will be available via YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter at no cost to the fans.
“AEW’s next big event is May 25’s Double or Nothing in Las Vegas. Currently, that show is set to stream on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, and will be available as a pay-per-view purchase in the UK via ITV Box Office.”
AEW’s Double Or Nothing event is set to kick off on May 25th at 7:00 PM.
In an update to this story, The Wrap has since deleted that portion of their report with the following editor’s note: “Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story listed YouTube, Twitter and Facebook as streaming options for the ‘Double or Nothing’ event. Those platforms are for specific pre-show events. TheWrap regrets the error.”
AEW has since revealed all of their streaming information and how you can watch the event. It will also be available via traditional pay-per-view.
We previously reported that a television deal with Turner is expected to be announced on Wednesday before their advertiser Upfronts at Madison Square Garden.
UPDATE: AEW will be on TNT later this year.
