WWE needs to figure something out in regards to ratings and it seems like they might have figured out that they’re giving too much away on social media.
WWE usually keeps their YouTube account updated during the RAW show every week. However, they didn’t start uploading videos until the show was over this week.
Perhaps they are trying to stop fans from relying on YouTube instead of actually watching RAW.
The videos that they did upload on Twitter also included a new graphic on the bottom of the screen reminding fans to tune in because the show is live. These might be small changes, but they could be the beginning of WWE altering the way they operate in order to drive more people to watch the show.
Hopefully, this works, but it might take a few weeks for the new changes to really be seen by the numbers in the ratings. If that doesn’t help ratings, maybe Vince McMahon’s genius new Wild Card Rule will help things.
