WWE has been hitting the Kentucky and Ohio area hard in the past few weeks. It appears that anyone who didn’t already see WWE live in the past week or so will have to wait even longer.
We previously reported that the house show in Corbin Kentucky needed to be rescheduled for October and some fans were not too pleased about that. Now PW Insider confirms an interesting reason why WWE made this decision.
It is reported that WWE made the choice over the past several days to nix Monday’s Corbin Kentucky house show. This was reportedly done to assist in the build for Money In The Bank.
WWE realizes that their ratings are slumping because it is pretty hard not to notice at this point. Roman Reigns expressed interest in coming to RAW for some “unfinished business.” Then they planted seeds by WWE out-right telling him that he couldn’t go to the red team’s show. So Roman Reigns is highly likely going to be on RAW this week.
It should also be noted that the ticket sales for the Corbin house show were not remarkable. This likely made the decision easier. Corbin KY will still get their house show, but it’s been moved to October and anyone who already bought tickets will see those seats valid for the next WWE live event.
