WWE has a lot of pieces that they can move around and the Superstar Shake-Up provided them with a lot of chances to do just that. However, one feud that was planned coming off of the Shake-Up has apparently already been forgotten about.

As we previously reported, Samoa Joe was scheduled to make his return to RAW during the first night of the Superstar Shake-Up, but he was very sick. In fact, it was said he was barely functioning backstage. This angle would have seen him start something with Braun Strowman.

The Monster Among Men reported messed up another push for himself after his WrestleMania performance. Therefore, it was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE seems to have moved on from Joe vs Braun already.

Strowman vs. Joe seems to already be forgotten and they are going back to Joe vs. Mysterio–after Joe beat him in a minute at WrestleMania

Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio might be a good feud to see play out the way WWE intended before Mysterio’s injury. Because Dominic is around with his father. Word is that Mysterio’s son might have even agreed to some sort of a WWE deal as well.

It looks like Braun Strowman might have to wait a bit longer to get a title match now. He is currently in the Money In The Bank ladder match on May 19th, but he apparently lost a chance to battle Samoa Joe.

We will just have to wait and see if WWE will make Strowman a two-time Monster In The Bank after previously losing a cash-in.
