AEW’s Double Or Nothing event will be the first real chance that the new pro wrestling company has to make a big impression. They are also rumored to be very close to announcing a television deal.
The Elite registered a few trademarks back in the day. One of them was Tuesday Night Dynamite. This would be a perfect idea considering how SmackDown’s move to Fridays will leave Tuesdays open. Then again, Impact’s move to Thursdays after SmackDown moved to Tuesday didn’t have the best result.
The idea was put out there that AEW has moved on from the idea of holding their television show on Tuesdays. It was said that this wouldn’t work with the location they were talking to that could host their television show.
Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the idea of holding AEW’s television show on Tuesdays might be in play once more.
Since they are going through with the Tuesday Night Dynamite trademark. As of a month or two ago, the idea of a Tuesday night show was dead based on the stations being talked with having other programming, but it is back alive now.
Things might have changed in the negotiations. Turner Sports were expected to announce something to do with AEW during upfronts coming up, but that might not be happening either.
Only time will tell what is next for AEW’s television deal, but we will keep you updated right here at Ringside News.
