Brock Lesnar will not be going back to the UFC according to recent reports. In fact, it is said the he is retired from MMA.
This leaves Lesnar without a big bargaining chip in his negotiations with WWE, however, he could still have one big piece of leverage left when discussing another deal with Vince McMahon
Brad Shepard reports on Oh, You Didn’t Know that The Beast Incarnate had a conversation with Vince McMahon this week where he indicated to The Chairman that he wants to retire from WWE next year as well.
“According to Brett Okamoto of ESPN, UFC President Dana White told him Brock Lesnar is retired from UFC, but there’s an even bigger story which hasn’t been reported yet… Brock had a conversation with Vince McMahon over the weekend and wants to retire from WWE at WrestleMania 36. That’s huge.”
Plenty of people will likely line up to be Brock Lesnar’s final opponent, but Matt Riddle already called dibs on that spot a long time ago.
Brock Lesnar was confirmed to be working the upcoming WWE event in Saudi Arabia along with The Undertaker and Goldberg. If he sticks to a retirement plan then that might not leave him with very many more opportunities to make that trip with the company if WrestleMania 36 is going to be his final match.
