WWE is switching things around from the look of things. Soon they might not have many of the same faces backstage that they used to. Road Dogg, Arn Anderson, and Dean Malenko left the company in notable backstage roles. Other writers have left the company as well.
The fact is that sometimes people don’t last long in WWE. Whether it is the long hours or the travel, WWE isn’t for everyone.
PW Insider reports that WWE has hired Michael James Nelson as a writer. He is best-known as working on Betty White’s prank show “Off Their Rocker.” He isn’t the only writer from the comedy world that the company is hiring on.
It is reported that Andrea Kail is also now a writer for WWE. She previously worked on TruTV’s “Comedy Knockout” show.
The company has also taken on Jules Rice and Stefanie Stephens. Rice previously worked for the Houston Sports Authority and Stephens worked as a marketing manager for Cirque du Soliel. Those two will be working on Southeastern-based live events.
