Lio Rush Confirms Breaking Locker Room Tradition To Earn Backstage Heat In WWE

Lio Rush has been getting a lot of press recently, but it’s not the kind that anyone really wants. Now he is responding to one heavy report of insubordination, but he’s taking an interesting approach.

It was reported that Lio Rush refused to carry the bags of veterans on the road. This was breaking locker room tradition and this earned him a lot of heat. Lio Rush fired back at this report, but he didn’t deny it at all.

I believe we are all able to carry our own gear and provisions. I treat others as equals and as a young black male have often had to fight for my own equality.

It wasn’t about belittling Lio Rush for any reason except for the fact that he was still paying his dues as a newer member of the WWE locker room. However, he apparently didn’t want to carry the veterans’ bags.

Lio Rush is apparently off of Raw now. It was reported that he could be moving back to NXT as well. He acknowledged to Ringside News that nothing in professional wrestling can last forever. You just have to wonder how his backstage heat might have accelerated a breakup between himself and the All Mighty Bobby Lashley.
