Lio Rush’s time on the WWE main roster might be over. He had a good run as Bobby Lashley’s hypeman, but it looks like he might have worn out his welcome.
Reports of Rush’s backstage heat in WWE are nothing new. However, the new reports of his heat in the company are quite troubling. He wanted his wife backstage at all times and when Finn Balor wanted to explain to Lio Rush why this wasn’t a good idea apparently, it wasn’t received too well.
Rush wanted to make sure that people knew he wasn’t watching RAW this week. Instead, he was enjoying some Impractical Jokers. This was after he posted an Instagram message that could illustrate how he’s feeling right now about the entire situation.
I’ve been through a lot of pain and struggle. A lot of frustration while being misunderstood. But in the end I’ve always stayed true and positive. I’ll leave you with this….NEVER stop believing in yourself no matter what they say and continue to strive for greatness. #LioRush
We hope Lio Rush is able to center himself and maybe get back on WWE’s good side. He has a lot of ability in the ring and on the microphone. However, he remained unapologetic for possibly too long and it might have rubbed too many people the wrong way.
