CM Punk returned to the ring under a mask to deliver a GTS and then get out of the building. It turns out that there was a lot more to that than just a simple run-in.

In an effort to keep things a secret, Wrestling Inc reports that CM Punk waited in a car outside the building until the time came to do his run-in. Of course, he didn’t even change his hoodie because he was seen wearing that same black hooded sweatshirt earlier in the day at a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament.

It is said that the original plan was for CM Punk to unmask and reveal his identity to the crowd of 350 people. However, that obviously didn’t happen.

It would be pretty great if masked men running into indie events to deliver a GTS becomes a part of what you can expect from indie shows. If it keeps happening, it might not be CM Punk every time. However, you never know where he’ll pop up next.
