Sasha Banks reportedly told WWE that she wanted to quit the company when she found out that the Boss n Hug Connection were dropping the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to The IIconics at WrestleMania. She didn’t keep her dissatisfaction quiet and this caused some heat backstage.

Mike Johnson expanded on Sasha Banks’ current situation on PW Insider Elite audio. He said that it isn’t 100% clear whether Banks left on her own or was told to exit and take a hiatus to figure things out.

“Whether she was sent home or she decided to go home under her own accord that story has changed based on the person I have spoken to and the company is basically gonna let her cool off and bring her back as long as she wants to come back.”

“So she’s under contract. She can’t walk out. She could ask for her release, it doesn’t mean that she’s gonna get one, but it’s still up in the air in terms of where she’ll be when she returned.”

The company is reportedly expecting Sasha Banks’ return at Money In The Bank. We will have to wait and see if they end up giving her a massive win, but apparently, they are considering that idea.

Vince McMahon doesn’t want the impression to get out that his Superstars want to leave the company. After all, they are just independent contractors and not considered employees which was the crux of John Oliver’s argument on Last Week Tonight.

It would fall in line to give Banks a big win such as the MITB briefcase because they did a similar thing in the past with The Revival after they told WWE that they wanted out of their contracts. Because soon after that Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson were RAW Tag Team Champions.
