WWE currently has both of their Women’s Titles on one person. Becky Lynch captured both titles at WrestleMania 35, but there doesn’t seem to be any plan to unify those titles although the idea might be teased.
Mike Johnson commented on this during PW Insider Elite audio where he explained that WWE is not unifying the titles, therefore, it is highly likely that Lynch could simply lose one of those belts and not the other.
“They made it clear those belts are not unified so it’s like Rob Van Dam having the WWE and the ECW titles at the same time in 2006 they could technically have Becky lose one, but not the other title.”
On an interesting addition to that story and an ironic twist considering that today is April 20th, RVD was busted for possession of marijuana in Ohio which caused him to lose both of those titles in very short order following that bust.
Hopefully, Becky Lynch won’t get arrested for anything that will cause her to lose the titles. However, she might not be Becky Two Belts for long. As we previously reported it is far more likely that Lynch will lose the RAW Women’s Title first because not only is a match against Lacey Evans locked down sometime in the future for a RAW Women’s Title shot, but The Man is still listed as a SmackDown Live Superstar.
