Drew McIntyre has opened fire on people in the WWE locker room who like to complain before. He said it was all Roman Reigns’ fault at the time because he was building their WrestleMania feud.
While speaking to The State Journal-Register, Drew McIntyre painted an even clearer picture about how he feels concerning those people who have lost perspective. He explained how they will turn to social media when upset instead of working harder to see results. This is not the way McIntyre operates.
“I can look around now and see people who have lost perspective. They’re perhaps tweeting about how upset they are and their lack of opportunity instead of bettering themselves or working harder outside of the ring. They’re clearly not going to the gym and they don’t have that fire anymore, and I understand it because I was there. And I can spot it because I was that guy.”
“It’s my job and my character’s job to get rid of those who don’t necessarily have that fire and remind me of my younger self.”
Drew McIntyre actually has a point, but this tactic of complaining on social media has seen some results in recent months. It doesn’t work every single time, but some Superstars have found themselves with more of a focus if they can drum up the attention for themselves on social media.
