Ricochet’s mother’s home burned down on Monday night on the same night her son was to debut on Monday Night RAW. This was a horrible tragedy, but The Only And Only set up a GoFundMe in order to help out and fans really showed how much they care.
As of this writing, the GoFundMe has raised $9,605 for the $1 goal. The low goal was set to ensure that any money past a dollar would go to the family.
Ricochet donated $2,000 to the GoFundMe and Wrestle Circus donated $100. Others who donated were Natalya and Jessamyn Duke although several names could be anonymous or aliases from other Superstars. However, it was the fans who really came out in a big way.
There were a lot of people donating $10 and $20. Those added up in a big way.
If you would like to donate to help out Ricochet’s family even more you can click the link above. They could certainly use all the help they can get as they rebuild their lives after this awful tragedy of losing their home.
In a pretty cool update, at 10:45 AM, WWE retweeted Ricochet’s original tweet so that should really help get the word out as well.
Update 2: $11,185 has been raised as of 1:00 PM today
