Rhea Ripley is incredibly popular as a former NXT UK Women’s Champion. However, popularity won’t stop someone from getting injured. It was reported weeks ago that Ripley suffered a leg injury and it still seems to be an issue.

Ripley actually wrestled against Kacy Catanzaro during WrestleMania Axxess, however, she was spotted wearing a walking boot following this match as reported by Squared Circle Sirens.

Now it seems like Ripley will be out even longer, but it is not a huge issue. She underwent some more tests and it was determined that she tore ligaments in her leg. It is not that bad because she is only expected to be out of action up to 8 weeks.

Hopefully, she will be able to come back strong and carry on. This is not a good time for her to get injured either as some fans were holding out a glimmer of hope that she would get a main roster call-up this week during the WWE Superstar Shake-Up.
