All Elite Wrestling is filling up their roster with Kenny Omega and Brandi Rhodes taking on a huge part to recruit female talent. It looks like they have their eye on Japan and this new signing is another great addition from that portion of the pro wrestling world.

AEW confirmed the signing of Hikaru Shida this morning. They sent out a tweet welcoming her to the team and she could make a big difference.

The 30-year-old Japanese wrestler worked for Ice Ribbon until 2014 when she set off on her own to work on her own. She’s been plenty busy and now Shida is bringing her talents to AEW.

There are plenty of talented women all around the world that are still unsigned from Shazza McKenzie to Leva Bates so we will just have to see who AEW brings in next. Hopefully, with such a big television deal on the horizon they will be able to feature plenty of talented wrestlers.
