The Miz Didn’t Think WWE Fans Would Ever Cheer Him

WrestleMania is coming up in a matter of days and WWE’s promotional machine is in high gear. Superstars are turning up all over the place for interviews and The Miz recently revealed that fans are doing something that he never thought was possible: cheer for him.

The A-Lister recently spoke to Sports Illustrated and discussed his babyface turn which is something that he honestly never thought was in the picture. After all, he was one of the best heels in WWE for years.

“The crowd is starting to do something I never thought they’d do, which is cheer me. It took 13 years for them to believe in me, and I hope I don’t disappoint. As much as The Miz is egotistical and arrogant, you’ve actually got to see the real Mike Mizanin on Miz and Mrs. and I think people have appreciated how much work I’ve put into everything I do.”

Miz & Mrs really changed things for Mike Mizanin. Now fans know the real Miz more than ever and he did a huge babyface turn on reality television.

WWE could very well write The Miz back in a heat-seeking storyline later on, but for now it looks like Shane McMahon will be the heel in this program as he risks his life to take out The Miz at WrestleMania.
