Rusev came into the WWE Universe as a Bulgarian Brute with a great push. He was eventually fed to John Cena at WrestleMania 31, but he continued until Rusev Day kicked into high gear.
This time last year fans were in full Rusev Day celebration mode. It was the most over gimmick in the company on certain nights. WWE still broke up Rusev and Aiden English to extinguish that momentum.
Lana watched all of this go down and she recently unloaded on social media while pointing a big blaming finger at the fans.
The saddest thing about the @WWEUniverse is how quickly they turn on someone. Last year everyone chanting in the streets #RusevDay & now you don’t even believe @RusevBUL will win ! I’m glad we woke up to realize we don’t need your stupid support @WWE #WrestleMania #SALTY
Rusev and Shinksuke Nakamura have an opportunity to become SmackDown Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania. We will have to wait and see if it is their lucky day in the fatal four-way match, but it’s likely that Lana will arrive at the show of shows in a salty mood anyway.
