Another Current Top WWE Superstar Confirmed For Starrcast

Starrcast is booking several interesting names, most notably The Undertaker. Now they are adding another prestigious name to the list with Kurt Angle.

Cody Rhodes announced on Monday night that Kurt Angle will be appearing at the Starrcast event. This does not mean that any affiliation with AEW is in the works or even a possibility. Angle is retiring at WrestleMania and it is hard to believe he would step back in the ring for any company after that, especially in his current physical condition.

Angle’s match against Rey Mysterio was even nixed this week on RAW because of Kurt’s ability to work the match. Angle did get a little physical during the show, but nothing was compared to what his body would have been required to go through if he actually worked a match with bumps involved.

He will be signing autographs and taking pictures just like The Undertaker. It is still very interesting that one month after his final WrestleMania match that Kurt Angle is doing Starrcast.

It is no different and probably less of a deal than The Undertaker who isn’t even working WrestleMania in order to do WWE’s Saudi Arabia show instead.
