The WrestleMania main event match that is now much more confusing with Charlotte Flair as SmackDown Women’s Champion. Now the triple threat match will include two champions.
Stephanie McMahon will address what will actually happen with this situation on RAW tonight, but Mike Johnson had a very interesting idea on PW Insider Elite audio.
“It’s quite possible that they’ll do the 4 Horsewoman thing although I haven’t heard anything that would definitely make me believe that. I think if they don’t put the SmackDown title on the line they’re being short-sighted. They can always do a Winner Takes All deal and unify the belts and the winner comes out as the unified Women’s Champion to match the Women’s Tag Team Champions.”
“So maybe they’re gonna do that and and that would be their way to get some of these talents to slide between RAW and SmackDown.”
He also noted that this would make sense especially as we get closer to the Fox deal in October that will see the blue brand going to a different network.
WWE has done unified titles before and with a smaller Women’s Roster this might make sense to have titles that float from brand to brand. You can never put it past WWE, but crowning an Undisputed Women’s Champion at WrestleMania could certainly add extra excitement to the show of shows.
