WrestleMania is a week away and we have an idea of how long the show of shows will be, and it won’t be a quick event. WrestleMania has always been a packed show, but this year could end up testing a lot of fans’ endurance.

There are expected to be 17 matches on the card following the addition of two tag team title matches. The WWE Network listing for the event is also very interesting because it is giving the event plenty of time as well.

The kickoff show is set to start at 5:00 PM EST. It would probably be a good idea not to have a match until enough fans have filed into MetLife Stadium, but with two hours they will have more than enough time to squeeze a couple of matches into the show that will stream on all of WWE’s social media platforms.

The event is not listed to be over until 12:30 AM EST. This could mean that with the addition of the kickoff show the WrestleMania event will be 7 1/2 hours long. This exceeds last year’s WrestleMania event and we thought that was lengthy.

In all reality, WWE can have as long of an event as they want. It might be really awful for New Jersey traffic if 60-70,000 people all leave MetLife Stadium at once after midnight, but at least they’ll be getting their money’s worth with the price of their ticket.
