Jim Ross is a WWE Hall Of Famer and was brought back to the company for a role as a commentator. However, WWE hasn’t used him much at all. If anything, his return to WWE only pulled him out of AXS TV’s NJPW television show because he was unable to work out a new deal with them while under WWE contract.

Ross has confirmed talks with AEW since the rumors of his signing were made public. It appears that he is one step closer because Good ‘ole JR is now a free man once again in terms of his contract status.

Jim Ross’ WWE contract has expired. This means that he is free to not only talk to other companies, but also sign with them. It could be only a matter of time before All Elite Wrestling makes a very big announcement.

Jim Ross could very well be the voice for Double Or Nothing, but a television show is highly expected as well. After all, they’re not paying him that much money just for his vocal talents on big events.
