WWE’s biggest show of the year is less than two weeks out and they have a big plan for next year’s WrestleMania already. However, fans won’t know what that is until the main event is over.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that “the plan is also to come out of this match with a clear direction for next year’s WrestleMania.”
This either means that Ronda Rousey will be coming back in one year’s time to seek revenge for losing or WWE will start a year-long build toward another Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair match. Either of those stories is plausible with a “Winner Take All” theme.
It was also noted that we are talking about Vince McMahon in 2019 here so you never know how many times he will change the plan in between now and then. The fact that it will be 2020 means that even more time will lapse and if McMahon continues with his booking trend of changing things up on the fly it could result in a much different main event by the time WrestleMania rolls into Tampa.
