Goldust has been a face in WWE for a very long time and has experienced his highs and lows when it comes to angles. One of fans’ favorite stories he ever took part in was with his brother Cody Rhodes. While it is not confirmed if he’ll be going to AEW it looks like he is free to do what he pleases now.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Goldust’s WWE Contract has expired. He is currently under a 90-day no-compete clause, but once that is over he can appear wherever he likes.
Goldust is currently recovering from a knee surgery so he hasn’t been wrestling recently. It is not certain when his deal actually expired, but it was reported that he will be available to work where he wants to in May.
In case you’re keeping score AEW’s Double Or Nothing event is on May 25th in Las Vegas. On the latest Road To Double Or Nothing episode, Cody Rhodes was shown teasing a match with his brother when telling his seamstress to “stay away from gold.”
