Kofi Kingston Reacts To The New Day Sacrificing Themselves For His WrestleMania Match

Kofi Kingston is lucky to have Big E and Xavier Woods around. This has never been more true than it was last night on SmackDown Live. 2/3 of the New Day battled in a gauntlet match to win Kingston his WWE Title Match at WrestleMania.

Vince McMahon said that Kofi is in the WWE Title match at WrestleMania, but he doubts that Kingston will be able to win because he is just a B plus player. That didn’t seem to matter to Kofi Kingston as he celebrated and sent out a heartfelt thank you to his New Day brothers.

“So many emotions flowing right now. I cannot even begin to describe how proud i am of Woods and E for their performances tonight. It’s truly humbling to have two people in my corner that would voluntarily sacrifice their health, their livelihood and themselves for me. It’s overwhelming. I’m so grateful and fortunate to be able to call them my brothers… WE’RE GOING TO WRESTLEMANIA!!!”

Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston might not be the main event of the show, but Kofi will get his WrestleMania moment nonetheless. We will have to wait and see if he is able to pull down the title, but it was certainly an emotional roller coaster to get him in that spot.
