The Revival asked for their WWE releases a few months ago, but instead of granting them WWE made them a big promise and put the RAW Tag Team Titles on the Top Guys. They still apparently want out.
Dave Meltzer spoke about Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson’s desire to leave WWE during Wrestling Observer Radio. There are a couple of interesting things that we previously reported that he shed new light on.
Last week, The Revival snapped a photo with a fan wearing an AEW t-shirt at a live event. It turns out that this fan did not solicit the photo. Instead, The Revival spotted and walked up to him and said, “see you in May” which is the month of Double Or Nothing. Of course, even if they were released tomorrow their 90-day no-compete clauses wouldn’t allow them to work in May, but it is still interesting.
Another instance Meltzer brought up was the tweet Wilder sent out saying that nobody should wish being RAW Tag Team Champions on any child.
The Revival don’t seem to be happy, but why would they be? As RAW Tag Team Champions, they continually lose and haven’t even been booked for WrestleMania yet. We will have to see how WWE handles the situation, but FTR might be moving on if they have any say in things.
