Mustafa Ali Reacts To His Name Change In WWE

Mustafa Ali is no more and he is now just “Ali.” WWE made this change yesterday, but Ali is taking it very well. It hopefully won’t stop his push and that doesn’t seem to be his plan at all.

Ali reacted on social media where he explained what his former name meant and said that nothing has changed. He’s still fighting for the people, he’ll just be doing it with a much shorter name now.

Mustafa means the “chosen one” with an emphasis on being chosen from amongst the people.

Name or not, nothing has changed. I fight for the people. I am one of them.

In light of this news we have to wonder who might be next (probably Aleister Black). Ali didn’t seem to mind this name switch-up, but we can’t help but wonder if all of his fans feel the same.
