WWE superstar Mojo Rawley has revealed that Rob Gronkowski making the transition over to WWE is a distinct possibility.

Gronk recently revealed that he has decided to retire from professional football, after nine seasons in the National Football League. Rob won three Super Bowl titles during his time with the New England Patriots, and established himself as a future first-ballot Hall of Famer in the process.

Of course, this led to a series of rumours and speculation over what he was going to do next – with many fans tipping him to make the move into professional wrestling. TMZ Sports recently caught up with his good friend Mojo Rawley and quizzed him about the rumours.

Some members of the WWE Universe will recall that Gronk actually made an appearance at WrestleMania a few years ago in Orlando, helping Rawley to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. In terms of the interview, though, Mojo had the following to say.

“That wouldn’t shock me one bit [Gronk to WWE]. He’s always been a wrestling fan, at WrestleMania he was really excited about it, and we still joke around about that moment. Yeah man, in the future, I’m sure you’ll see him inside a WWE ring in one capacity or another.”

Between Gronk potentially joining WWE to Conor McGregor’s recent retirement from MMA, it’s certainly an interesting time for celebrities in the world of pro wrestling – and with WrestleMania right around the corner, who knows what could happen.
