This year’s WrestleMania event will make history because women are going on last for the first time. This RAW Women’s Title match has received the best build out of any match by far so it only makes sense.
The rivalry between the three of them seems to be going in different directions. Rousey has directed plenty of verbal insults at WWE and Becky Lynch while The Man has concentrated on Charlotte Flair during SmackDown Live. It is rather curious how Charlotte Flair hasn’t been in the mix as much as Lynch and Rousey, but it is still a triple threat match.
Becky Lynch reacted to this news by tweeting a poster of the Mania main event match along with the following caption:
I ran my mouth, put in the miles, took the bumps and entertained the people till they couldn’t deny me any longer. It’s an emotional day just knowing I get to smash Ronnie and Char in front of the whole world on the biggest stage possible. To the people: THANK YOU. #IAMTHEMAN
Becky Lynch made it to the WrestleMania main event by running her mouth, but Charlotte Flair also had something to say about this match. She was much more inclusive in her tweet about the big announcement.
It’s been my…it’s been OUR goal to main event #WrestleMania. It was never just talk, it was the hard work of every woman past, present, and future to get us here. We won’t let you down. 13 days. #HERstory #Evolution
So far Ronda Rousey hasn’t commented on this big announcement. It is very likely that she already knew judging by the video she put out last week. It was also reported in December that Flair was already told that the Mania main event would be hers.
