Jack Swagger Jokes That He Tore Up $10,000 Congratulatory Check From Vince McMahon After MMA Win

Jack Swagger is better known as Jake Hager in Bellator now because that is his real name. He won his first professional MMA fight in the first round and tons of WWE Superstars were very happy for him.

While speaking to the WINCLY, Swagger was asked if he had any communication with Vince McMahon since his fight. After all, McMahon did call Swagger before his MMA fight. Of course, The Real American American had something to say.

“Yea he sent me a $10,000 check congratulating me,” joked Swagger. “I tore it up and said ‘This is chump change, Vince.’ I sent him a video tearing up the check… I’m just kidding [laughs]. No, we haven’t had a chance to speak, but telepathically I feel his well wishes.”

It might seem like a joke to say that Swagger can sense Vince McMahon on a telepathic level, but we’ve heard about Vince’s Jedi Mind tricks in the past. Even if Mr. McMahon doesn’t ring up Jake Hager again, at least he knows that plenty of the WWE roster is cheering him on.
