WWE Possibly Cutting Key Matches From WrestleMania Card

WrestleMania is set to be a big show and there are already 10 matches confirmed for the event with even more rumored. However, the company might realize how long the event will be and are making an attempt to switch things up a bit.

Rajah reports that “WWE is trying to keep WM to 13-14 matches.” This falls in line with our previous coverage of the event.

There are currently 10 matches announced for the WrestleMania card including the SmackDown Women’s Title match where Asuka doesn’t even have an opponent yet. If you add in the women’s battle royal which is expected and the WWE Women’s Tag Team match then that makes 12 confirmed matches.

This leaves out the Intercontinental Title match and both tag team title matches from the main roster brands. An IC Title match is rumored which could include a return of Finn Balor’s Demon persona.

We previously reported that WWE might be snubbing their male tag team champions at the show of shows which might not be a good look. However, if WWE is trying to limit the show then certain cuts will need to be made.
