WWE Signs Another Former X-Division Champion

WWE’s Performance Center is getting very crowded, but there is always room for a former champion. At this point, the NXT brand has just about as many former champions from the indies as the main roster and DJZ is just the most recent.

PW Insider reports that WWE has come to terms with a deal to sign DJZ to a contract. This will see the former Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion arriv at the WWE Performance Center imminently.

DJZ has a few indie wrestling dates to clear up that are currently on his calendar so we will have to see if WWE allows him to fulfill those dates. They are typically okay with fulfilling obligations on the indies, but DJZ is headed to Orlando very soon.

It is reported that the deal was actually signed during the last week of February. So he should be arriving at the WWE Performance Center in the next class of recruits if not sooner.
