WWE has experienced a lot of changes in the last couple of months which is usually when the company finalizes plans for WrestleMania backstage. 2019 has been a pretty unpredictable year so far and WWE is still trying to put things together for the show of shows.
We have been told that as of tonight at RAW, WWE is still finalizing their WrestleMania card. With all of the unexpected events such as Roman Reigns’ return, Kofi Kingston’s push, and the recent NXT call-ups WWE is still trying to work things out.
Only a few people on the top of the card know what they will be doing at WrestleMania. We have also heard that Dean Ambrose’s exit could also mean that he won’t have a match on the event in a very high-profile position. Then again, if he decides to stick around that could change-up the card as well. This is why his booking at the end of this week’s show left things seemingly open.
So far only the top matches on the Mania card are booked including Kurt Angle’s retirement match. The WrestleMania event is going to be around seven hours long this year so they need to fill those slots. The company has a direction for a few matches, but nothing has been set in stone yet for a majority of those contests.
We will have to wait and see what happens next, but we will let you know as soon as more information is made available right here at Ringside News.
