WWE Possibly Bringing Back Weekly RAW Guest Hosts

WWE RAW ran a series of guest host angles a couple of years ago that brought in people like Bob Barker and Betty White to do segments on RAW. Now it looks like WWE is bringing back that idea.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that it appears WWE is bringing back the idea of weekly guest hosts on RAW.

“Looks like the company is back to doing the guest host deal here, or at least a little while. The guest hosts always helped the rating a little bit. So we’ll see if that helps.”

Colin Jost and Michael Che are well-known and popular members of the SNL cast so they could help bring in some people who just want to see what they will say. However, since this is taking place in WWE they will likely play by the company’s rules. So don’t expect any random Donald Trump digs tonight.

The idea of WWE bringing back weekly guests hosts is interesting, especially on the road to WrestleMania. They certainly need everything they can to bring up the ratings.
