Total Divas will be losing a big part of the show with Lana and Rusev’s exit. A lot of fans weren’t happy with this news, but the E! Network did focus groups who decided that the couple isn’t likable enough to be on the reality show. It is an interesting decision for a reality TV show to take someone off because they aren’t liked because usually controversy is that genre’s bread and butter.
Now it looks like another change is on the way for Total Divas. Sonya Deville called into Afterbuzz TV and revealed that she is set to get the spot left open with Lana’s exit.
Deville is openly lesbian and this will provide E! Network to tell her story. It will revolve around her personal life as the first openly lesbian WWE Superstar as well as her career in the ring.
Deville appeared on Total Divas before and it was thought that she could be joining the cast last year because she was filming with the cast during WrestleMania 34 weekend in New Orleans.
