As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for the WWE Championship match at WWE Elimination Chamber have been released.
The WWE Championship is widely considered to be the most prestigious title in professional wrestling, and it’s hard to deny that. The belt has been held by some of the greats throughout the years, and now, it’s being held by one of the best heels in recent memory – Daniel Bryan.
The former leader of the Yes Movement will be defending the strap inside of the Elimination Chamber next Sunday, where he’ll be facing five of the very best superstars that SmackDown Live has to offer.
In terms of the betting odds, Daniel Bryan is the favourite to retain the WWE Championship at 1/4. AJ Styles, the man he beat for the belt, is the second favourite with odds of 7/1. Randy Orton comes in not that far behind him with odds of 9/1, and then we conclude with Samoa Joe (11/1), Jeff Hardy (16/1), and Mustafa Ali (16/1).
It seems to be an ‘obvious’ thought process that Bryan will move on to WrestleMania where he’ll defend his title, but nobody really knows who will meet him there. We’ve heard rumblings of Bray Wyatt, but he’d likely have to appear at the Chamber in order to begin the build for such a showdown.
Whatever happens it seems like a virtual guarantee that we’ll get a fantastic match between these six men on Sunday, because we’re not sure they’re capable of anything less than that at this point.
