Dean Ambrose might be a top WWE Superstar and making headlines with intergender matches, but he remembers what it was like to just be a wrestling fan. As he spoke to the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, he revealed his attitude toward giving his time to those who support his craft.

Although not all WWE Superstars feel the same way, Ambrose said he always has time for the fans. He will stay extra after events to meet some fans too and he can’t say no to a kid either.

“So I’m always first introduced to this stuff by signing [action figures] at signing events…I’m all about fans, I’ve got all the time in the world for fans,”

“I’ve done every appearance and signing that lasts 3 hours, I always wait until everybody’s done, no matter how long it takes. When being a babyface, I always stay out there and sign all the autographs at the end of the show every single night. It takes an extra twenty minutes. But, some of these people ruin it for everybody. Come to a signing! I’ll sign all your sh*t at a signing. One of the worst is when they send the kid. You see them over there and the kid just walks up, ‘Can you sign this?’ And you can’t say no to a kid.”

Cody Rhodes has spoken in the past about how important it is for a WWE Superstar to genuinely want to spend time with the fans. Sometimes Axxess signings can be impersonal, but it is that extra effort that goes a long way to secure a wrestling fan for life.

It’s no wonder why AEW will be interested in signing Dean Ambrose when the time comes.
