WWE seems to be going through a bit of a transition right now. Top Superstars are seemingly out the door and AEW is also offering outstanding offers. Now WWE is losing another big cog in their machine in
Kazeem Famuyide.
Famuyide has been a writer for WWE for the past year. He was involved in penning some amazing lines including Elias’ great burn on the Seattle crowd about not having a basketball team that came close to beating a record for longest constant boo on RAW.
He announced that he is leaving WWE and put over the WWE writing team huge including giving specific props to Paul Heyman. He was nothing but appreciative for all of the time he spen with WWE.
“Thank you for everything, @wwe. Done more for me than you’ll ever know. Thank you for letting me live the dream!”
“There’s tons more, and a lot of these aren’t possible without the help of great lead writers like Ryan Callahan, Ed Koskey, Steve G and the Road Dogg. I’m endlessly grateful for this experience and learning so much. And now i can say this without consequence…”
“The WWE creative team are some of the most incredibly hard working, talented, funny, smart and passionate people I’ve ever worked with. They get a shit ton of unnecessary online hate and 98% of you who criticize them wouldn’t last a week. They are brilliant.”
“Also, a big thank you to the extremely kind and thoughtful @HeymanHustle, a guy who always sought me out to make sure i was good, give advice, help me with my writing and how to maneuver in the machine. Thank you so much.”
In typical writer fashion, Kazeem Famuyide then said “screw it” and posted a series of tweets consisting of his greatest hits from WWE. You can check out a few of those below as well.
