Dean Ambrose is now leaving WWE after his contract expires in April. This decision was said to make a lot of people incredibly nervous around WWE as well and they called a few Superstars into rooms to talk about their futures on Tuesday.
Before the news got out very few people were aware of what was going on with The Moral Compass. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter even noted that WWE Creative wasn’t even told about the situation.
“Creative didn’t know, although most believe the key people in company were well aware of it.”
There is an old phrase that goes, “telephone, telegraph, tell a wrestler” or something like that. It basically means that if you want news to get out fast then you need to use one of those three means of communication. (That phrase was coined before text messaging and emails.) Still, a very select group of people seemed to know what was going on with Ambrose until PW Torch broke the story.
The fact that Nia Jax shoved Dean Ambrose out of the ring on RAW like she did makes us wonder if we’ll ever see him again on television. Because if he does enter the arena on RAW he might be the biggest babyface in the company no matter what he does which is something WWE doesn’t need.
