Why Jeff Jarrett Is Back On WWE Television

WWE has brought a lot of people back to surprise us all. When they announced that Jeff Jarrett was coming back to the company as a backstage producer and on-screen character it really made some people wonder why.

Dave Meltzer was asked about WWE’s intentions for Jeff Jarrett during Wrestling Observer Radio. It seems like he was brought back on television for one purpose and that was to put over Elias as a heel.

“Jarrett’s obviously just short-term thing. Just a way to turn Elias. Why they would want to turn Elias I don’t know, but that seems to be the idea.”

Jeff Jarrett has a lot to offer. He’s been in the pro wrestling business for over thirty years and has a legacy in the industry as well. We will have to wait and see how things pan out with Double J and Elias, but he might just be a WWE Hall Of Famer brought back in for a heel to take out and draw some heat.
